The topics will primarily focus on produce production, but many sessions will also be valuable for small livestock producers looking to expand their business knowledge and market opportunities.

Understanding licensing and regulations for selling farm products
Exploring funding opportunities and farm business resources
Introduction to Farm Table Delivery, southwest Iowa's local food hub
Requirements and opportunities for selling products to schools
Southwest Iowa farmers markets, farm stop, and other direct-to-consumer channels
Introduction to Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Understanding soil health and the importance of soil testing
Networking opportunities with local farmers and growers
