From 2020 through 2023, we're working with Practical Farmers of Iowa and other partners on a Beginning Farmer & Rancher Development Program grant for southwestern Iowa.

The primary outcomes of this project include:
- Providing Outreach and recruitment by promoting events in their region
- Serving on the regional beginning farmer resource team to collaborate and share beginning farmer resources and events in Iowa (quarterly for 3 years)
- Creating and maintaining regional beginning farmer meet-up events in their region (quarterly, for 3 years)
