Clarinda:

This quaint town of 5,900 is one of the prettiest in Iowa. A 20-block lighted boulevard circling the center of town is used extensively for walking and jogging. The 100 ft. wide "Promenade" was a unique feature of the original Clarinda platting. The Retail area circles the Page County Courthouse built in 1885. The community offers several restaurants, clothing stores and a unique green house at Henkeville, flower and gift shops.
